Most famous for their original interpretation of a salsa version of the classic song by James Brown, Man's World, The Project is the only group to represent UK salsa worldwide. Now with the inclusion of some of the best dancers in Paris, the sky is the limit.
Has well as boasting some of the top dancers around, The Project has the best in instructors that can cater for any style of salsa (from NY to Cuban), and all other Latin dances (from Tango to Bachata).

Leon Rose is one of the freshest innovators in the international Salsa scene. His inspirational style generates enthusiasm and commitment to the art of Salsa dancing as demonstrated when he won the 2000 UK Bacardi Salsa, 2001 Salsa Club championship and 2003 Aji con mango competitions.

He was born and educated in London and comes from a Caribbean background where he learnt to appreciate a wide variety of good music from an early age.
During these years, Leon attended The Anna Scher Theatre School, which led to many appearances on stage, popular children's shows, including 'Grange Hill' to several televised dramas, one alongside Dame Judy Dench.
He has performed on television and stage, from appearances with Enrique Iglesias on Top of the Pops (BBC), The Des O'Connor Show to The Royal Albert Hall in aid of Princess Diana Landmine Fund, Hackney Empire and various prestigious venues around the UK and the rest of the world.
As a choreographer and Salsa instructor Leon enjoys every aspect of dancing from encouraging the novice to working with the advanced and inspiring the best.
Leon teaches worldwide from a far field as Australia to Morocco to Puerto Rico. His natural exuberance and Salsa spirit ensures that to see him in action - Salsa is Life!

Noemie Millon

France is emerging as a dominant force in the world of Salsa with Noemie right in the forefront setting standards for others to follow. Her versatility in the dance has turned many heads as she is extremely capable of dancing most, if all styles of Salsa and still remarkably keeping her own unique flavour. Noemie’s energy not only stands out on stage or while dancing socially but also in her classes and workshops where students always feel they have really learnt something and enjoyed doing so.

Born and raised in Normandy, Noemie comes from French and Caribbean parentage and music has always been a big part of her life. Discovering the dance and music of Salsa she instantly felt hunger to learn more. Educated to degree level in Sports Management, Noemie has a deep understanding of how to push one’s body to achieve the best.
In 2002 Noemie moved to Paris and only after dancing for a short period was invited to join an all girl group called Sals’appeal. Later that year after dancing to a high standard of Cuban Salsa, she moved to London to learn English, of which she is now fluent. During this time she trained under the guidance of Leon Rose who took her to the next level. On her return to Paris in 2004 was now able to dance with anybody in any style and look good in doing so. Many of the top French groups took notice and over the next few years she performed in many worldwide congresses with Salsa Paris Gang to Uforia and U Tribe. She has been on stage as a dancer in the Leon Rose Project and more recently partnered Gordon Neil from Atlanta.
Since becoming full-time professional dancer and instructor Noemie has taught and performed globally. Egypt, Guadeloupe, Morocco, French Guyana and many European countries like Denmark and Portugal are only a few of the places where she has left her mark. Noemie continually strives to develop herself as dancer and in her classes she is always ready to help her students do the same.

Inaki Fernandez
Dancer
Inaki was born in the North of Spain but grew up in Madrid. He moved to London in 2004, bringing with him several talents, including experience in Argentinean tango, Salsa and of course Bachata.
Since joining the 'Leon Rose Project' in the end of 2004, Inaki has been performing with the group at congresses worldwide, including Holland, France, Spain, Ireland, Brussels, Sweden, Latvia, UK, Texas, Switzerland, Geneva, Surinam, Germany, Miami, Italy, Israel and many more.

Inaki teaches Salsa, Bachata and Kisomba at a number of venues including the 'Latin Dance Academy'. The LDA founded by world renowned teachers, Susana Montero and Super Mario, focuses predominantly on technique.
Although Inaki has extensive experience of teaching Salsa and Tango, he is widely known for his popular Bachata workshops and has even teamed up to perform and teach with Susana Montero. His unique style of footwork and body movement combined with energy and intensity have earned him the title, 'King of Bachata'! His enthusiasm for Bachata has encouraged and developed a strong community of Bachata fans on the London salsa scene. Keep an eye out for the release of Inaki's brand new bachata DVD featuring Susana Montero.
